It is the largest network in the world that connects people all over the world. With this it connect business partners, supplier, customers and all departments. As we all know we use internet to access information or find general information like

Share resources
To correspond/ meet with people
Shop for product and services
History shows that internet was formally called
ARPANET when it was invented in 1969 and the name was changed to INTERNET in 1980.

Services on the internet are EMAIL. It is electronic mail allowed message to be exchanged from computer to computer. Email program which is used to create, send, receive, forward,
Store, print and delete email. Examples
Yahoo, Gmail, MSN and Hotmail.

WEB: It was created by Tim Berneve Lee and it
Contains hypertext links or highlighted keywords and images that lead to related information. WEBSITE: Collection of documents and webpage is document. Web has hypertext
Markup language for displaying webpages and other information that can be displayed in a web browser.
Before one can access the web there must be
Internet connection
Internet services Provider
Browser  to access the web.        

 ISP is commercial organization that sells temporary 
  To subscribers. Examples MTN, Digi, Maxis, Microsoft network......and so on
Web Browser is software program that are used to view web page. Example-Firefox, Opera, Safari, Internet explorer.......and so on
Web Servers are computers delivers web pages and every web servers has an IP address and possibly a domain name.
Web Client is your computer


TRANSFER PROTOCOL
The transfer protocol is the set of rules or software that the computer use to move files from one computer to another on the internet. It has Hypertext Transfer Protocol(HTTP) which is common transfer protocol used on the internet and it also uses FTP.
Web Browser works by using the Hypertext transfer protocol to request a special encoded text document from the server
